When I first started keto before me and my wife got married, I did not even eat vegetables. This changed when I realized I could make some crispy seasoned asparagus easily on the grill next to my steaks. I usually put this on with 12 minutes to go on the steaks. You can put them straight on grill, but I use foil to keep them from falling through the grill grate.
Grilled Garlic Pepper Asparagus Recipe

1-2 bundles of asparagus
3.5 oz extra light olive oil
1 tsp Slap Ya Mama Cajun seasoning
1 tsp garlic powder
1-2 pinches of grated Parmesan cheese
Directions
- Rinse asparagus under sink and break stalks off (wherever they break naturally is good)
- Place in Ziplock 1 gallon bag
- Mix olive oil, Slap Ya Mama, and garlic powder together, dump in Ziploc bag, seal and gently shake so asparagus is generously covered in mixture.
- Place on grill at 350 degrees for 6 minutes and then flip and cook for additional 6 minutes until slightly charred and crispy
- Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and serve
- Alternative Stove Top Directions
- Instead of cooking on grill, use a skillet with a lid over medium high heat on the stove for 12 minutes, flipping asparagus halfway through.
